Isopropyl Palmitate (IPP) is a clear, colourless to pale-yellow ester commonly used in cosmetic, personal-care and pharmaceutical formulations. It acts as an emollient, solvent and texture enhancer, improving spreadability while leaving the skin feeling soft, silky and non-greasy. IPP is especially useful in creams, lotions, serums, cleansing oils, hair products and anhydrous fragrance applications such as roll-on perfumes and body oils. It blends readily with essential oils, aromatic compounds and other oil-soluble ingredients, making it an effective carrier for active ingredients and fragrances.
