Citrus Marmalade Sugar Scrub

 

  • 1½ c. Sugar

     

  • ½  c. Colloidal Oatmeal

     

  • 30 drops Lemon Essential Oil

     

  • 10 drops Ginger Essential Oil

     

  • 20 drops Sweet Orange Essential Oil

     

  • 2 Tbsp. Honey

     

  • ½ c. Sweet Almond Oil

     

Combine sugar and oatmeal. In a glass pyrex pitcher

 

warm sweet almond oil and honey. Stir to combine. Then add all of the essential oils. Finally, combine with sugar and oatmeal.

 

 

Apply the scrub to wet skin, using a circular motion work your way up from your feet.  Use warm not hot water. Rinse and you will be soft and invigorated.  

 

 

 

 

Lemon Soufflé Lotion

 

 

  • 2 Tbsp. Beeswax Pearls, melted

     

  • ¼ c. Coconut Oil

     

  • 2 Tbsp. Sweet Almond Oil

     

  • ¼ tsp. Lemon essential oil

     

add

 

  • 2 Tbsp. Glycerin

     

 

In a separate pan, boil 2 Tbsp. distilled water

 

and 1 tsp. Borax.

 

 

Slowly mix into Beeswax mixture. Whisk until smooth.

Honey Almond Hand Salve

 

 

  • 1 ½ c. Colloidal Oatmeal

     

  • 2 oz. Almonds, finely ground

     

  • ADD 1 Tbsp. Honey

     

  • 2 Tbsp. Sweet Almond Oil

     

  • 8 drops Tincture of Benzoin

     

 

Mix thoroughly and fill a clean jar.

 

 

Winter and dry skin have arrived!

 

Butter Bars will keep your skin moisturized and

 

Prevent windburn and chapping. 

 

 

 

BUTTER BARS

 

 

  • ¼ c. Sweet Almond Oil

     

  • ¼ c. Beeswax Pearls

     

  • ¼ c. Shea or Mango Butter

     

  • ¼ tsp. Lemon Verbena or Lavender essential oil

     

 

Melt beeswax pearls in sweet almond oil and shea or mango

 

Butter.  Add essential oil, stir and pour into 2 ½ oz. tubes.

 

Makes 5 large tubes.  Sets up in 1-2 hours.

 

Also softens lines around the eyes, face and neck.
