HOMEMADE MOISTURIZER

• 1 c. Sweet Almond Oil

• 1/2 cup Beeswax Pearls

• 1 tsp. Vitamin E

• 10 drops Oil of Lavender or Sandalwood

Melt the Sweet Almond Oil and Beeswax Pearls over low heat, remove from heat and whisk until cool. Add Vitamin E and Oil of Lavender or Sandalwood. Pour into a sterile jar and store in a cool, dark place.

CLAY MASK

• 4 Tbsp. Kaolin clay

• 1 Tbsp. Honey

• 2 tsp. Milk

• 4 drops oil of lavender, sandalwood or lemon

Combine ingredients, apply to face, wait 15 min. and rinse with warm water. Then apply a moisturizer.

CANDY CANE SOAP Clam shell mold (holds 5 oz.) Clear and opaque soap base Red or green colorant 1/2 oz. oil of Peppermint paper plate

Spray paper plate with cooking spray (such as Pam). Melt 2 oz. opaque white soap base. Add 20 drops oil of Peppermint. Pour onto paper plate (dinner plate size). Let set until firm but still pliable (about 10 minutes). Melt 2 oz. clear soap base add 20 drops oil of Peppermint, stir. Spray white soap layer with alcohol.   Add a few drops of red or green colorant to clear base and pour over white soap layer.  Allow to become firm but still pliable. Peel away paper plate. Cut soap into 1/2" - 3/4" strips.  Twist into spirals or cut in half and make pinwheels by wrapping around a wooden spoon handle or with your fingers. You can also bend into "ribbon candy" shapes.
Melt 4 oz. clear soap base, add 1/2 tsp. oil of Peppermint. Gently stir. Allow to cool a few minutes, stir to prevent skin from forming. Then fill clamshell mold.  When a skin forms, soap is cool enough to add "candy" soap pieces. Slit skin with a knife and insert embeds. Spray top with alcohol. Close clamshell when soap is hard.

Note: If you pour soap into clamshell immediately after melting, it will warp the clamshell. Also, allowing soap to cool will prevent your embeds from melting.
