Recipe of the month:
Pumpkin Pie Spiced Soap
- 1/4 c. Cinnamon, ground
- 2 Tbsp. Ginger, ground
- 1 Tbsp. Cloves, ground
- 1 Tbsp. Nutmeg, ground
Combine spices and store in an airtight container.
Use a tsp. per 4 oz. of soap base. Color base orange with a drop of caramel colorant.
Scent with Plymouth Pumpkin Pie. If you want to layer it, pour 1/2" of opaque white
soap base and add spice mix. Spray with alcohol and when skin forms add a layer of clear
orange/caramel colored soap. Scent all with Plymouth Pumpkin Pie. You could also scent the
top, "custard" layer with non-discoloring vanilla fragrance oil.
**For an exfoliate bar, add a tsp. of ground orange peel.
