Hello Fragrance Crafters,

SPRING is coming……at last, really it's just around the corner.

Here are some great recipes to try!

Colloidal Oatmeal is now available for $1.00 per cup - ground fine and a great addition to sugar scrubs, masks and bath teas.

Bubbling Brown Sugar Scrub
Makes 8 oz.

  • 1 c. light or dark Brown Sugar

  • 1/4 c. Sweet Almond or Jojoba Oil

  • 1/4 c. Anti-bacterial liquid Soap

  • 2 Tbsp. Glycerin

  • 1/4 c. Colloidal Oatmeal

  • 1 Tbsp. Honey

  • 2 tsp. Brown Sugar fragrance oil

  • 1 tsp. Vitamin E (available at your local Pharmacy in 2 oz. bottles)

Thoroughly mix all ingredients and spoon into clean jar. Can be used all over the body and on the face.  Smells delicious! Oatmeal helps to incorporate the oils and sugar, making a paste. Easy to apply and nourishing to the skin, as well as exfoliating.

Pina Colada Sugar Scrub
Makes 8 oz.

  • 1 c. granulated White Sugar

  • 1/2 c. Coconut Oil

  • 1 tsp. Vitamin E

  • 1 tsp. Coconut fragrance oil

  • 1 tsp. Pineapple fragrance oil

  • 1/4 c. grated Coconut

Mix all ingredients except Coconut Oil. Melt Coconut Oil in the microwave or stovetop. Add to other ingredients. Mix well and fill a clean jar. The coconut oil is light and absorbs well into the skin.

More Recipes!

Buttermilk Bath Soak

  • 1 c. Buttermilk Powder

  • 1 c. Epsom Salts

  • 1/4 c. Honey Powder

  • 1/2 tsp. French Vanilla fragrance oil

  • 1/4 tsp. Brown Sugar fragrance oil

Mix together and allow to air dry overnight. Mix again and fill a pretty glass jar or China sugar bowl with  your bath soak. Your skin will be soft and silky.

Vanilla Bean Fizzing Bath Salts

  • 1 c. Sea Salt

  • 1 c. Epsom Salts

  • 1 Vanilla Bean

  • 1 c. Citric Acid

  • 1/2 tsp. White Chocolate or French Vanilla fragrance oil

Mix all ingredients except Vanilla Bean. Slit bean with a sharp knife and scrape inside seeds (yes, these are the black specks you see in REAL Vanilla Ice Cream) into your other ingredients.  Cut the Vanilla Bean in half and insert in the center of the container you fill with your fizzing bath salts. This will intensify the Vanilla scent. Use 1/4 to 1/2 cup per bath.

Brown Sugar 'n' Spice Glycerin Soap

  • 5 oz. Clear Glycerin Soap Base

  • 1 tsp. ground Cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp. ground Allspice

  • 1/8 tsp. Cinnamon fragrance oil

  • 3/4 tsp. Brown Sugar fragrance oil

  • 1 clamshell mold or other 5 oz. soap mold

Melt soap in microwave or stovetop. Do not allow to boil. When melted, add ground spices and fragrance oils. Allow to cool for several minutes, then pour into clamshell mold or other 5 oz. soap mold. If you are using the Clamshell mold, snap shut when soap is completely set. Tie a raffia bow with a cinnamon stick to top of Clamshell mold, there is a hole in the top which makes this very easy to do.

I hope these recipes will add spice and fun to your life!

We will also be adding some beautiful new soap decorations. A basket of flowers and a bridal bouquet.

All orders over $25.00 will receive a 1/8 oz. fragrance oil of our NEW Stargazer Lily scent.

Watch for those Daffodils and Crocus, they're on the way!

Scentsationally Yours,

Nancy Booth
