The Easter Bunny has come and gone. Now it's time to gear up for Mother's Day and Spring.

Many of you love the Petit Four cake soaps. We have an eleven cavity fluted mold and a Heart with Rose Relief mold that works really well for making your base soaps. You can also use an aluminum tart tin. For those of you who do not want to use frosting soap and attempt cake decorating on your own, we are now offering pre-made soap roses, leaves and whipped cream swirls. These roses are three-dimensional and are very realistic looking. The roses are available in pink, white, yellow, aqua, peach and lavender. Decorating your cake confections: The soaps shown below were made in our mini soap molds and then the pre-made roses and leaves were added. They are attached by using small dollops of soap that was melted and then allowed to set slightly. The best way to apply your "soap glue" is with a craft or popsicle stick. As an added touch, sprinkle a tiny bit of fine glitter on each little cake after spraying lightly with alcohol. This allows the glitter to adhere to the moist surface. You can also make little polka dots with a plastic pipette. You must work quickly as the soap solidifies rapidly. Another method is to dip the end of a thin paintbrush handle into melted soap and drop one dot at a time onto your little petit fours. These make fabulous gifts and we guarantee you will receive many compliments with these little cuties!

Unlike salt, sugar dissolves quickly and won't scratch the skin. The molasses in
brown sugar is made up of natural plant acids that aid in exfoliation. Brown sugar is gentle enough to exfoliate all skin types.

Some Honey Recipes from "A Spa of Your Own"

Vanilla and Honey Milk Scrub
2 Tbsp. powdered whole milk
2 Tbsp. finely ground oatmeal
2 Tbsp. powdered honey
1 Tbsp. vanilla powder

Blend thoroughly. Take 1-2 Tbsp. of mix, add warm milk or water to make a paste.
Apply to face and massage in a circular motion. Rinse with cool water.

Honey Gloss
3 tsp. beeswax pearls
4 Tbsp. sweet almond oil
1 1/2 tsp. honey
8 drops honey flavoring oil
1/2 tsp. lipstick (if color is desired)

Melt beeswax pearls and sweet almond oil. Add honey and blend thoroughly. If
lipstick is used to color gloss, add it while mixture is hot. Allow to cool a little and then add flavoring oil. Continue stirring to prevent separation. Makes 2 1/4 oz. of product.
